DoRI Mission Statement
Doulas of Rhode Island was founded to provide Rhode Island families with easy access to doulas and to educate our community about doulas. As we continue to evolve, we strive to increase public awareness about the physical and emotional benefits of doula support during and after birth.
DoRI is an inclusive group of trained and certified doulas who respectfully work together in an empowering and nurturing environment. The DoRI network provides our member doulas with professional development opportunities, compassionate support and relevant resources to help our doulas provide the
best possible, non-judgemental care to the families we serve.
The network is open to all area doulas, it offers education, support and marketing opportunities.
Our goal is to increase public awareness about the physical and emotional benefits of doula support during and after birth.
