Now our mission is to increase access to doulas in RI.

In 2026, only about 100 certified perinatal doulas exist in RI. We strive to increase the number of doulas serving RI. Our doula scholarship program supports creation of new jobs in RI by providing opportunities for people who aspire to become a doula to afford doula trainings and existing doulas to continue their professional development to keep their certifications active.
