Doula Scholarship

Our mission has been clearly stated since inception that we seek to ‘educate our community about doulas.’ Part of education is increasing access to both education about doula work and to individual member practices. As part of our mission, we started a scholarship fund to address inequities in maternal and infant healthcare by increasing diverse populations’ awareness of and access to doulas.

DoRI has awarded a total of 7 doula scholarships between 2022-2024. In 2026 we are offering another 7 scholarships for doulas.
